Your are looking at a one of a kind fully customized 2005 Chevrolet C4500 4X4 Crew Cab. This one owner custom beast has only 3680 Miles and will stop traffic, turning heads everywhere. This awesome monster truck was bought out of excitement and pure adrenalin in amazement of its sheer size (please look at the pictures, although they don’t even come close to depicting what this truck truly is). No expense was spared on this highly customized build (It would easily cost over $150K to duplicate). It stands roughly 4 feet from the ground to the floor board of the truck, 8.5 feet wide (outer tire dimension), and roughly 10 feet in full height (pavement to roofline).
The Front End: The front end is a one off custom fabricated fully tig welded trussed axle that rides on one off specialty built Fabtech Dirt Logic 4.0 monotube adjustable coilovers with piggy-back reservoir (these are not the ones you can simply order, these were custom ordered and built for this truck). The whole front end is elevated by a 4 link wishbone 2” channel tig weld reinforced seamless chromoly tubing. Everything on this truck was built heavy duty, all mounts are double sheered and fully tig weld reinforced with chromoly FK heim joints / rod ends. There is much more that words cannot describe or explain, you have to see to level of craftsmanship in order to truly appreciate what is being described.
The Rear End: The rear sits on heavy duty military grade shackles attached custom built Atlas Spring Inc. leaf springs (specialty order built for this truck), 4 Fox 2.0 piggy-back shocks are added for smoother ride, added comfort and damping. This truck is done right… the rear differential is a Spicer Model S 135 SL (which is Rockwell grade). The 4x4 transfer case is a sprocket gear by New Force Gear Model 205 (ratio 196) using Spicer u-joints attaching it to the custom built driveline by Coast Driveline & Gear.
Steering: The steering is controlled and aided by many high end custom fabricated upgrades, starting from the upgraded high pressure steering pump, Currie Antirock Off-Road Sway Bar, custom mounted Fabtech Dirt Logic 2.25 dual steering stabilizers, fully custom fabricated adjustable track bar and more.
Motor: This C4500 Kodiak is powered by a Duramax Diesel 6600. This truck on the other hand defiantly has way more as the huge turbo easily spools up and pushes this beast smoothly and easily at freeway speeds. Other goodies include not only the massive turbo upgrade but jet coated down pipes, as well as a full 5” custom Y-pipe exhaust leading out to the killer looking stacks, which defiantly set this truck off. Also helping this beast move is a High Flow AFE Filter, Pacific Performance Engineering (PPE) Dual Fueler Kit and a performance tune to make her power up and move swiftly and smoothly through the gears.
Wheels & Tires: This monster truck sits on 22.5” (Rockwell grade) heavy duty rims wrapped in Goodyear G178 Super Single ECD II 445/65R22.5 tires.
Stopping Power: This truck has massive stopping power and slows down quickly and smoothly without any hang ups. This is achieved through a very custom set up that includes huge four piston calipers front and rear (they appear to be off of an 18 wheeler or something bigger, they are absolutely massive), ventilated disc brakes front and rear, as well as the steal breaded lines.
More Features and Upgrades: For extra ride comfort both the driver and passenger enjoy Liberty II Bostrom heavy duty damping/isolating suspension seats. Pillar mounted Boost Gauges, Custom diamond plate gas tank, Mag-Hytec high flow transmission tan, Custom Realm Audio system includes a multi channel amplifier, 6.5” front speakers, 6.5” rear speakers with crossovers and tweeters, speakers in bed of truck, bed liner, tow receiver, custom fabricated side steps, HID headlights, LED tail lights, full custom strobe lighting, train style air horn accompanied by a remote reservoir air tank, old fashion siren, custom Smith & Wesson pistol grip on the floor shift knobs and much much more. No cost was spared on this one off production.
This truck has so much custom work done to it that we tried our best to break it down and describe all the features we could recognize. We do not specialize in such vehicles, so this task was naturally a challenge, there are probably many things that we missed but we believe we covered most of the important information. It is important to mention that most items on this one off build were specialty fabrications and or built for this application. This truck was built with all heavy duty part, reinforced welds and top notch parts. The overkill on this monster is what makes this truck functional and drivable at freeway speeds.
